Unreal is a multi-disciplinary, boutique design shop founded in 2006 and based out of New Orleans, Louisiana, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast – with clients as far away as Singapore. Unreal was born from the intuition that clean, effective design facilitates the smooth flow of information, enlivens social discourse and rips through the clutter. We get tangible results for our clients while at the same time staying small, lean and efficient.

Creative director and principal, Rick Dobbs, was previously art director at MGM-MIRAGE’s Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi, and art director at Xdesign, Inc. in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Rick has over eight years of award-winning advertising and design experience with in-house and agency environments.

Although winning awards is not what it’s all about, it is often this standard by which success is gauged in our industry. Unreal is thankful to have garnered several Addy awards in the past couple years on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and in Baton Rouge including back-to-back People’s Choice Awards for print.
